Welcome to Hodgson Fine Art. My love of birds began at age eleven when I went on my first Audubon Society birding trip. I later began sketching and painting birds and other wildlife and this has grown into a lifelong study. I spend countless hours in the field drawing inspiration from actual experiences. Using field notes, sketches and some photography I’ve honed my illustrative and painting techniques to achieve a high degree of detail and accuracy while retaining an artistic feel.
